Engineering Manager

Actively seeking an Engineering Manager to manage a team of Software Engineers within our growing engineering department. In this role, you will make an impact each day by providing technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers. As an Engineering Manager, you’ll promote best practices that ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure through continuous deployment, delivery, and optimization. You'll be successful in this role if you are passionate about coding, love coaching and leading others, and want to contribute to the expansion of a high growth startup.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to a team of software developers through regular one on ones, ongoing feedback, and performance reviews
  • Foster career development and growth mindsets within the engineering department
  • Promote internal processes and procedures that align with software development best practices
  • Anticipate, identify, and remove roadblocks for the team in order to improve efficiency
  • Influence product direction by contributing to product road mapping discussions. 
  • Support recruiting and training initiatives as we continue scaling our team
  • Contribute directly to the codebase as time permits


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a lead of manager level engineering role
  • 3+ years of software development experience using web technologies such as Angular, Typescript, NestJS, or PHP
  • Strong understanding of and adherence to software development and security best practices
  • Proven track record of coaching and supporting teams in an Agile environment
  • Strong technical communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience with interviewing and hiring engineers

Full Stack Software Engineer

As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will guide the company's technical trajectory by helping to bring our customer’s unique requests and workflows to life. You'll make an impact each day by optimizing current processes to ensure a streamlined user experience. Using your passion for writing clean, scalable code, you'll use Angular 13 to maintain, update, refactor, and debug code. You'll oversee UI design, development, and testing for the web app and mobile app. If you are a Full Stack Developer that is driven to create amazing code, love solving interesting puzzles, and want to work with a close-knit team that does all but the impossible, then we want to talk to you.


Responsibilities:

  • Consistently and efficiently deliver high quality systems involving substantial contributions from multiple teams
  • Shape broad architecture by shipping multiple large services, complex libraries, or major pieces of infrastructure
  • Design and lead implementation of systems used by multiple teams
  • Debug complex technical problems
  • Support delivery from other engineers across teams by simplifying projects, services, and processes and helping team members break down and conceptualize complex problems
  • Identify and proactively tackle system wide or organizational technical debt and contribute to creating and refining methods and procedures used by the team


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks
  • 10+ years experience designing web applications
  • Experience with Git, Angular, PHP/SQL, and NodeJS/NestJS
  • Strong track record of building, optimizing and scaling web applications based on feedback from customers and internal teams
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based/web technologies, responsive web design, and      user behavior
  • Strong track record of delivering projects with broad business impact across      multiple teams

IT Application Support (Dynamics 365)

Provide advanced technical support for enterprise applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (FO) applications. Responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, configuring and optimizing system processes, and managing role-based security within the organization. Help ensure adherence to ITIL practices, including incident, problem, and change management processes. Excellent opportunity for an IT professional with experience in ERP systems and a strong understanding of security management to contribute to the efficiency and success of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-level support handling escalations from Tier I and assisting with moderately complex issues related to D365 CE and FO and other enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical problems within the ERP system, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Maintain role-based security within D365, ensuring users have appropriate access based on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Adhere to ITIL framework and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles to manage incident, problem, and change management, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach to service delivery.
  • Assist in the deployment of updates, patches, and system configurations, coordinating with other IT teams to ensure smooth system transitions.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance monitoring to proactively identify and address potential issues or inefficiencies in the ERP environment and other enterprise applications.
  • Provide training and guidance to Tier I support and end-users on basic D365 functionality, role-based security, and best practices.
  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives by offering insights into application enhancements and optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with business users and IT teams to resolve day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Assist with reporting and data analysis using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Power Query.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of recent and related work experience in IT in a technical role with similar responsibilities required
  • Strong familiarity with software applications and common business tools required (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and FO applications, Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools, or enterprise software).
  • Post-secondary education from an accredited college/university with a concentration in Information Technology or certification from a state/nationally recognized IT technical school preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation preferred
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, or Linux), and network fundamentals.
  • In-depth knowledge of role-based security models and how to configure and manage access within D365.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL service management processes, including incident, problem, change, and release management.
  • Basic knowledge of business process flows and system configurations within D365 CE and FO.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues within enterprise applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Strong documentation skills within ticket system for managing and tracking support requests.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of IT security practices and data protection principles to ensure proper system access and user roles.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software, systems, and processes quickly.
